Ideal Home Show 2014

I had so many photos from this show I have split the blogs into two parts. This part is focused on show highlights and the second part will be show suppliers.
Opening Day at the Ideal Home Show 2014 was packed with people!
Although the Ideal Home Show is a lot less "designy" than the other shows I go too, I did enjoy myself.
The entrance theme seemed to be lampshades, Giant hanging lampshades
highlighted seating areas on your way into the show. It was very
bright, colorful and fun I liked what they have done.
The Princes Crescent

I loved the layout of the Princes Crescent using the show houses, that was really clever and created a great space to be in.

These show homes turned out not to be just show homes!
"After the Ideal Home Show Scotland, these houses will be placed permanently on the Dumfries House Estate in Scotland, where they will become someones home."

The interiors of the Princes Crescent were designed by Annabel Bertie and Princes Foundation student Laura Hattrup.

The pair worked together to create "Three different interior schemes that reflect the timelessness of their traditional scottish exteriors whilst demonstrating how good functional design equipped with comfort can work for a varitey of life-styles.
