"In Rain Room, Random International invites you to experience what it's like to control the rain
So what exactly was the Rain Room?
.......Well, first a two hour que sat on the Barbican gallery floor surrounded by students.

The
experience was limited to six visitors at a time, which was necessary
due to the installations size but once you were in you were free to
spend as much time as you liked and were not rushed out.
The Rain Room was a large gallery space with a suspended ceiling grid that imitated rain.
The
magic - as you walked slowly into the rain it would stop raining where
you were standing.
Almost as if you are parting the rain.
So you would be surrounded by rain but not getting wet!
(Please excuse the dodgy camera angles Steven Spielberg I am not :-p)
